All of Iowa Lead & Asbestos Safety's instructors have physically worked in the construction industry for an average of 23 years each. Each carries multiple lead and asbestos licenses and are still active in general construction, lead abatement, lead inspections and consultations. Their in-depth industry knowledge and true hands-on experience enables them to clearly explain WHAT the law requires and HOW it specifically applies to your field of work.

Each course provides demonstrations and hands-on training, delivered by an instructor who works as a professional contractor, is a licensed lead and asbestos inspector, and understands the importance of applying safety concepts to the work you perform in your trade.
ON-GOING SUPPORT. Once you’ve completed your training course with Iowa Lead & Asbestos Safety your instructor is available to you 7 days a week, 7am – 6pm by phone or email to answer your questions.

No, even if your license has expired, you can still just take the appropriate refresher class and then apply for your license.
Iowa requires a refresher training class every 3 years in order to renew your license.
If you are taking a refresher course, yes, online training is available. If you are taking an initial training course, online training is NOT allowed. Initial training classes have to be taken in a classroom.
